Capture Learning With A Video Camera

My students need a digital camera.

Ms. G.
Grades 9-12

I teach grades 10 through 12 Chemistry, Physics and Dual Credit Chemistry in a public school.

Our students are very low income and the district is in an urban area. Our entire district receives Title I funding because so many of our students are economically disadvantaged.

If the Physics students can take pictures of another student shooting a basketball, for example, we can digitize that and they can create their own PowerPoint lectures on projectile motion. Chemistry students can videotape a short lab and put it on our school web page. Different groups each lab can be featured.

Our students may not live in the best neighborhoods, have the most money, or have the best clothes but they are doing what they can to give us all they've got. They are working harder than I have ever seen this year. I hope that you will help make it possible for them to grow even more and have all the advantages they can.
