I teach a 4/5 gifted cluster. These students are ready to learn every day! They keep me on my toes thinking of new curriculum opportunities to present. They are quickly reading all of the chapter books and novels that I currently have!

These students are able to read books at a much higher grade level than most elementary students. The problem is the lack of good, challenging reading material that is age appropriate for these students. I have found several good books recently and this is one of them. This book connects to many current events, like hydroponics and over population of certain countries. I think that my students would be very interested in this book.

I would love to have a class set of this book to offer to my students. We could have wonderful discussions about the content and characters. The ending of this book is very unexpected and I will enjoy seeing the surprise on my students' faces!

I would appreciate any support in helping to challenge these students to the best of my ability. Thank you for your consideration.
