My students need 75 copies of the "Autobiography of Malcolm X".

I teach Literature and Composition in an inner-city charter school in New Jersey.

A class set of these books will allow us to read the work together and discuss it in detail, appreciating the rich narrative as a group. Otherwise, we'll be limited to seven books, which is nowhere near enough to read the book as a class.

These books will undoubtedly enrich these students' senior year with a contemporary tale of triumph that will inspire them in their future endeavors.

With your aid, these students will be better acquainted with the tribulations and successes of their own culture, as well as the tolerance that Mr. X ultimately appreciated as the true answer to the racial divide. No other book can inspire such ardent study. Your donation will certainly touch minds.
