Mighty Mouse

My students need an adaptive computer mouse and a cause and effect switch.

I teach children with special needs. My students range in age from 7 to 11 years old. Our class is located in a Title One School.

My students love to learn using the computer. They enjoy educational games and websites, but have fine motor skill deficits that make using a regular mouse difficult.

The adaptive mouse allows the student to move a ball instead of having to maneuver the entire mouse to navigate. The student can right and left mouse click with raised buttons that are color coded for easier identification. The switch connects to the mouse and allows students with extremely limited mobility to use a simple touch in order to get a response.

Your generous support will allow my students to turn a weakness into a strength and become more independent in their learning and choice making!
