Last year Donors Choose gave us a fabulous color laser printer for the Publishers' Center at the Library. Our students are inner-city, Title I students. The printer at the library is the only printer they have access to. It's a fantastic printer; it prints double-sided, the color is vivid and Anthony, who donated the printer, (thank you so much Anthony!) also paid for replacement toner.

However our students love publishing their work so much that we have run out of replacement toner. And when we went to order more through the Education Department we discovered that while we could order red, yellow and black toner, for some reason they forgot to add blue. Yes, that's right, black, magenta, yellow, but no cyan!

We need all three primary colors for our color printer to print. Our students are studying the Impressionists. They are researching their painters on line and they need to print samples of their work for creative reflection and response. They need blue for Van Gogh's "Starry Night", they need blue for Monet's "Water Lilies". And they need blue for the 3rd grade brochures on the 50 States, for the 8th grade Exit projects, for the 6th grade biography hand-outs, and so on...

Please help our students see their work finished in glorious color with replacement toner for the library printer.
