My students need 1500 sheet protectors, 20 binders, and dry erase markers for their reading program.

As a special education teacher at the middle school level I provide educational services to students with a wide range of severe learning disabilities such as dyslexia. Many of these students are at an educational disadvantage in that their core learning curve in various subjects is impeded due to the fact that each disabling condition takes them considerably longer to read all required material than students who are their peers and progress in a standard form and function. Their class work is highly repetitive. The work is done on paper that is marked up as to show that they are decoding properly. Due to this there is quite a bit of Xerox copying to be done. If these students had plastic paper protectors and loose-leaf binder they would be able to mark up the pages with dry erase markers. They could then wipe it off for use another day. The binders will keep them organized. As this work is so repetitive, using the markers seems to make this work a little more enjoyable.
