This is a third grade class of mostly low-income children of very diverse backgrounds. These aren't children who will be exposed to technology at home.

I was recently trained on Final Cut Pro and I want to share what I learned with the children. Podcasts of current events, the recording of social studies reenactments and a video club are just a few of the ideas that I want to put into action.

This kind of work requires a powerful computer and the PCs in my school just aren't up to it. We need a Mac to make it work.

The donation of a Mac book computer would allow me to put the kids in the drivers' seats and unleash the power of video in my classroom.
