Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am a second grade teacher in a Title I School which is located in the Bronx, New York. I firmly believe that children need to expand their vocabulary. They need dictionaries to enable them to write. My children often stop writing, because they get hung up on the spelling of a word. This hinders not only their progress, but their creativity. Can you imagine watching their little faces light up, when they use the dictionaries. This is a simple problem to solve. What child wouldn't want to use a cool, new electronic dictionary. They would be eager to write more. The electronic dictionaries would give my children the ability to write independently while encourage them to write more. Please make it possible for the next generation of writes to write with ease!
