Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

ACTION!! Help second grade students at an urban charter school improve their verbal communication skills by providing them with tools necessary to create movies and audio recordings.

Over the past several years, our students have been lucky to experience an increasing amount of technology integration. Through grants and fundraisers, students have been able to experience Smart Board technology and they have been able to benefit from the use of a traveling media station. Now it is time to enhance their use of technology and increase their oral language and communication skills!

In order to enhance students' technological experiences, they need certain technological tools. Students can use a new digital camcorder to create informative and persuasive presentations as part of integrated units of study. In addition, students will benefit from using a digital voice recorder to create various audio broadcast and narrations!

Your help will enable my second grade students to have their voices heard and held onto. Your generosity will enable students to create presentations and projects that they will have forever!!
