A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

My students need one camera to take pictures for my yearbook class.

Our yearbook staff is comprised of 17 enthusiastic students who love to take pictures and layout our yearbook. Digital technology is extremely important as our yearbook is created online and the photos must be uploaded.

Unfortunately, our 8 year-old Canon digital camera is not working and cannot be salvaged or repaired. I inherited a $15,000 debt when I got this class, and with our district in financial turmoil with the state, we cannot afford to purchase a new camera.

If we could purchase the Canon Eos Digital Rebel we could use the lenses from our old camera and have a better yearbook with my students learning how to use digital technology.

Your help will make it possible for my students to learn digital photography and to make a quality yearbook through the use of digital technology.
