Boom Boom Boom... Drummin Up Service Projects

My students need a marching bass drum to help us travel to various service projects. (We are a middle school who volunteers in two elementary schools and two local foundations for individuals with disabilities.)

High needs students looking to further our community outreach efforts! Could this be the project for you? Help me to lead my music students in even more community service projects. My students, 88% of which are on free or reduced lunch, love music and want to share it with the community. We have already performed in two local elementary schools and two facilities for individuals with disabilities. The problem we face is that we must leave most of our percussion equipment behind as it is too heavy to carry. This means our music does not sound complete, especailly when we play pep band songs! This also means that we must rotate through our percussionists which often means they each only perform one song. What I am requesting is a marching bass drum. This will help us to sound more appealing in our performances. A marching bass will also allow more students to participate. I want all of my students to be moved and inspired by the feeling of performing for others. I also want them to know that they need to share their gifts with the community. Please help us by donating to this project. It will not only help my music students but the community at large. Thank you for your time.
