My students need 10 copies of "The Cod's Tale" and 15 copies of "George vs. George: The American Revolution as Seen from Both Sides" to understand history from many different perspectives.

Students in Utah are first introduced to US History in the 5th grade. They need supplies that will captivate them and make them think about their country.

Without supplies (especially books) students will not be able to find a connection with the history of their country or they may only see it from one perspective- the teachers.

Their are two books that I have found to be interesting, entertaining, and extremely helpful. The first book "George vs. George" looks at the Revolutionary War from both King George's and George Washington's perspective. The second book "A Cod's Tale" takes a completely different perspective on history- how much cod affected our history. Students will find this entertaining and unforgettable.

Your donation will help students at our school have a greater appreciation for their country. They will learn how precious it is to be an American and we will be able to create activities from these books that will create lifelong memories.
