Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach a classroom of 22 students at a Title 1 school with 80% of its students receiving free and reduced lunch. My school was built in 1955 and it has hard floors. We are a high need school with few classroom luxury's.

We need a nice floor carpet so the class has plenty of space to sit down and receive group instruction. Its not a nice feeling when you have to sit down on a hard floor for 45- 90 min.

With a floor carpet I could teach my reading program with ease. We spend 135 min at day in direct teach mode in my classroom on a hard floor. With a floor carpet my students would be very comfortable and ready to lock in and engage in learning.

You can make it possible for my students to learn in a enjoyable, comfortable and colorful classroom.
