I work in a public school in which we are the smallest school in the district and do not have access to necessary resources to match surrounding schools.

Female athletics in general receive less attention than male athletics, so I'm trying to ensure our females first are exposed to sports beside softball and basketball and secondly have the necessary equipment. Some of the young ladies come from the traditional family with others living in single parent or no parent(grandmother) household. I do not coach volleyball, but our school is small and like a family so I know and teach many of them. Providing the balls and waterbottles would be a great help for the girls. They will continue playing hard with or without the balls, but the token would serve as a reminder that hardwork does not go unrewarded. I want them to know someone is always watching and there is a rainbow at the end of the sweat and tears.

These resources will help ensure the females feel appreciated and equally rationed equipment/funds as the male counterparts. I'm asking for a donation to provide for 3 tachikara game balls, 4 tachikara practice balls and 12 drinking bottles with carriers. The tachikara game balls while more expensive offer quality and longevity.

You will make it possible for females in a small community receive exposure to a sport in which they may thrive and empower them physically and emotionally, which will undoubtedly boost their confidence in the classroom.
