My senior students need 150 individual copies of Frankenstein to read during the spring semester, as well as an audio copy of the book.

Encourage reading in today's youth! I teach seniors in a large public high school in Florida and I try every day to inspire each of my students to read more. I am in a unique situation this year. I am teaching senior British Literature which will allow me to teach the phenomenal Frankenstein! This is a wonderful novel full of graphic details and heart-thumping action that the students actually enjoy, even though it is a classic. Our situation is that our district no longer allows students to purchase materials for school. If a teacher wants to teach something outside of the text book, we have to come up with a way to do so that doesn't cost the students a dime. I love using interesting and entertaining books to prove the point that there are LOADS of knowledge to be gained from reading. Your help will ensure that my students each get a copy of Frankenstein to read both in class and at home on their own time. You could also possibly spark an average reader to become ABOVE average.
