I teach about 300 students in grades three to eight computer and library skills. We attend an urban school outside downtown. The students live in the neighborhood and commute to school. The majority of our student body is Hispanic, African-American, Asian, and Caucasian.

Last year we received new computers and I have wanted to keep the wires and cords organized for safety and cleanliness. I want to teach good organizational skills to my students in the computer lab.

We need cord ties to keep the computer wires from getting tangled and disconnected. Keeping our lab clean and neat will help us utilize our computers longer. Document holders will also help us complete projects efficiently.

By helping us with simple organizational tools we will learn good work habits and help keep our school running efficiently. It is through even the smallest of steps that we can practice good work habits and take pride in our school.
