I am the fortunate teacher of fifteen curious fourth graders. Our Title I school is located in South Carolina. My students have a poverty level of ninety-three percent which has negatively impacted their learning. My students are only exposed to science at school. I strive to make science memorable and engaging for my class. Our school has a very limited supply of science materials. We are asking for the Science Tools Supply Kit. This amazing kit comes with a myriad of science and math resources. Some of the tools include microscopes, slides, compasses, and magnifiers. In science we would use the magnets to explore magnetic fields. The thermometers would be a great addition for our weather unit. I know the prisms would really help my students understand the visible light spectrum. The Science Tools Supply Center also has wonderful resources for math too! The beakers and measuring tapes would help make measuring more meaningful for my students. My class and I would like to thank you for taking the time to read our request. Having hands-on materials will truly engage my students. With your help my class will learn how fascinating science can be!
