We are a K-5 primary school in an Illinois city, and we have about 360 remarkable, diverse, and creative students! We are located in a high-need community, and 97% of our students qualify for free/reduced lunch. Our art program has a long-lasting impact on the students, and one of the reasons is because in the Spring we have a large art auction to raise money for higher education scholarships for an entire grade level- which is a great cause!

Currently, our students are storing their art projects and paintings on the floor around the classroom and in the hallway. Although this is one type of solution, it is definitely not the best! The hallways in our 110 year old school are tight and so a footprint or even a ripped corner on one of the student's beloved paintings is sometimes an unfortunate casualty!

Because of our schools huge emphasis on painting, but lack of funding, it would be awesome to have a drying rack for the students' artwork. Not only would it allow the paintings to dry in safe place, but it would give the students a piece of mind knowing that their project was safe throughout the day!

Your donation will help to ensure that the students have a great place to store their masterpieces in the final stage. You will also be directly contributing to their futures, as many of these paintings will be auctioned off to raise money for higher education scholarships for the students. Some of these paintings sell for $400 or $500! You can truly help to impact a child's future! Thank you for considering your donation.
