I teach instrumental music and am starting an instrumental music program at a public charter school. The school serves high-need students.

Our schools serve children from poor socioeconomic backgrounds who are in need of activities to positively motivate them to stay 'off the streets' and in school. Music is a great way to express oneself without turning to the type of violence our children so often see. The program will utilize teamwork, hard work and dedication, life skills necessary to become the well-rounded and successful adults we know they can become!

We are in need of 2 flutes because, right now, our students have nothing to play. They will have opportunities to travel to music festivals up and down the Eastern Seaboard and to help bring their community together through pride in our young performers.

By donating instruments, you will make it possible for one more child to participate in an activity proven to build self-confidence, improve test scores and bring communities together! Your assistance will open doors to students who, according to some, were doomed from birth. Help us to elevate these students to their fullest potentials!
