We all know children must have time for creative play and social interaction. Now we have the powers that be saying we need art, but, they hold back when it comes to making it happen by providing few materials. I say we don't wait around for them. I am reaching out to you.
I have seen children become inspired by a jar of beads and some glitter. I need some creative materials in my classroom. I am asking for beads, glittery stickies, puppets and people sticks. If we receive this donation we will start a project looking at all the different ethnicities in our classroom by using the multi-cultural puppets to create a show to be put on for the other first graders.
Here's your chance to help children explore their creativity. You can make it possible for my students and future students to be imaginative while socializing with eachother. When children create together it is a beautiful site....you can make this happen.
My students need 10 materials like puppets, glittery stickies, people sticks, and painted beads.
The cost of this proposal is $338, which includes shipping for any materials requested and fulfillment ."

Dear Sara, Michele, Chris, Dana, Larry, jennifer, Courtney, Eric, Yessica and Anonymous Donors,
Wow! Wow! Wow! Thanks to your generous and thoughtful donation we are on our way to having some creative, fun play in an otherwise very academic classroom. My students work so hard learning to read and write and add. They are only 5 and 6 years old and they need to play and create. They are going to be so excited. I can't wait to tell them. Thank you so much.
