I teach sophomore English and Pre AP English II in what is considered a high poverty area.

Many of my students are considered "At-Risk" and not expected to attend college. We are also seeing a high number of limited-English speakers move into the school district.

The Writer's Inc. School to Work text is a wonderful grammar handbook which will allow my students to look up the grammar rules and see additional examples, if needed, outside of class. Learning the grammar rules and being able to apply them will enable my students to feel successful in a difficult subject area and hopefully encourage them to stay in school and graduate.

Your help will assist me in preparing my students for life after high school. Please help me in this endeavor.
