Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach in a Math Lab, where my mathematicians are at work listening to math read aloud books, engaging in mathematical discussions and activities.

Mathematicians visiting my math room to engage in math projects, math discussions and activities do not have a nice comfortable place to sit and work collaboratively. Students are excited about math, want to listen to math stories and engage in math related activities, but have no place to sit. Please help us!

Our "math lab" (i.e, math room) needs an attractive place for visiting mathematicians to sit, be attentive to math stories and engage in math related activities. Please help us get a new calendar rug that we can use for mathematical activities and enhance our learning to become the next Mathematicians of the 21st Century!

You would make it possible for visiting mathematicians in our "math lab" to be comfortable as they sit and listen to a math read aloud story, engage in mathematical conversations and activities with a new calendar rug! Please help us continue our journey of becoming the Mathematicians of the 21st century!
