I am a 7th grade Math teacher at a high-need Core Knowledge Charter School in North Carolina. Being a Core Knowledge school means that we are dedicated to leveling the playing field for our disadvantaged students. My students are here by choice and are very motivated to learn

Being a Charter school means that we lack many of the resources available to traditional public schools. However I believe that all students deserve the best education possible and in today's society, that means access to technology.

A document projector will allow me to enrich my students learning and also will allow them access to technology themselves. Not only will I be able to project any 3D item or document on the screen, but they will be able to do so as well. No longer will a transparency have to be made of everything, or special overhead manipulatives found. Students will also be able to instantly display and discuss their projects in a more technologically advanced and exciting way. Who wouldn't be excited about seeing their projects displayed on a giant screen?

Your help will make it possible for my students to experience technology and learning in a new and exciting way. The more excited they are, the more eager they are to learn and the more significant the experience.
