Parlez-vous francais? I am very excited to teach an exploratory French class this year. My eighth grade students will have the opportunity to learn the language, bake crepes and creme brulee, page through Louvre Museum brochures, and watch video footage of students in France.

My students have expressed interest in French, and our school currently only offers Spanish... not anymore! I am going to be teaching exploratory French for the first time, and our school's budget is slim. Showing my students where French-speaking countries are located would be a natural opportunity that I'd like to fulfill!

I have racked my creative brain to come up with resources and ideas for this French class. However, I need a map of Europe, so that I can "take" my students to France- at least in their imaginations!
