My classroom needs 1 LCD projector.

Ms. S. Skinner Middle School

I teach both struggling readers in a reading intervention program and advanced readers in a newly created journalism class. The middle school serves a high minority, low income population of students who are eager to learn and crave interactive environments.

My students connect with any and all multimedia I bring into the classroom. Unfortunately, with only 2 LCD projectors shared by the entire school, it's difficult to give my students the opportunity for visual learning on a consistent basis.

My classroom needs a LCD projector to better serve my visual learners and aid in creating a high-tech, interactive learning environment. My students will benefit from streaming video, educational YouTube clips, visual adaptations of stories, and online news clips.

Your help will set up my classroom and my students for success in this upcoming school year. Both my struggling readers and my advanced students can benefit from visual learning. You will make it possible for my students to enjoy learning privileges standard in many affluent schools.
