We Need to Hit and Shake to Play the Music

My students need 48 pairs of rhythm sticks and 15 tambourines.

To play Music is to move with Music...and what better way to do that then with rhythm sticks and tambourines! I am an Elementary General Music Teacher from Indiana serving a high-need community.

My kids love Music...who doesn't? To learn how to play Music they need instruments. Specifically, they need rhythm sticks and tambourines to learn about beat and rhythm. Unfortunately, my rhythm sticks and tambourines have so much wear and tear that I can hardly use any of them.

Your donation will help all my students become masters of the beat. When that happens, we can get creative and start making up patterns...which is especially fun for all ages. I worked with patterns almost every class period, so the donation you make will be used multiple times during the school day!

Thank you for reading this proposal. You can help make possible the reality of creating Music for all students in my school. Think back to your Elementary school days...do you remember your Music class? Do you remember playing on instruments and having a good time? Thank you and I hope you will consider giving my students memories that will last a lifetime.
