Cloud nine and the learning is fine! How happy students are to learn when their environment meets their needs. At my charter school, I want my second grade students motivated to learn while with me.

A tushy that can sit on something cushy is more apt to not wiggle and squirm. I like to have my students work in small groups, as well as whole class, on the floor in order to get a break from plastic chairs. My room has tile flooring and feels a bit like sitting on Arctic ice!

An attractive, comfortable, and durable "cloud nine" (rug) could cause children's learning to soar. Teams of students would not need to fuss about sore knees and cold creeping through their pants.

You will make it possible for second graders to have more than just a desk area to work at. Being able to move to another area for learning will add numerous activities that will enrich their reading and math. The sky can be the limit, with their own "cloud nine" (rug) to get them there! Thank you!
