ACT and ME

My students need 10 Guides to the ACT and 10 Practice ACTs to become familiar with both the type of material asked for on the ACT test and taking the test.

My school is 65% free and reduced lunch. I teach in an Illinois high school. My class is a self-contained special education English class at the junior level.

Do you remember the cold fear, churning stomach and/or headache that you got every time you had to take a standardize test? For my students it is that feeling times ten. They are afraid they won't know anything, or "pass" the test.

My students need to become comfortable with the strategies necessary to be successful on the ACT test. This test is required for every junior student in Illinois. They need to know the expectations by practicing taking the test. The two books selected will give them experience both with taking the test and the necessary test strategies.

You will enable my students to lessen their anxiety and be successful in taking the ACT.
