My students and I need a variety of materials for a smooth operating classroom: 2 box sets of the Twilight Series, a digital camera, certificates/awards for motivators, one educational game, one flash drive for projects, border trim for classroom decoration, and sentence strips for various types of group work.

Greetings! I am a 7th grade language arts teacher in a small town in South Carolina. This year I have the honor of teaching all females (approximately 110), since my school is now "single gender." The school is also one of high poverty with mostly minorities and around 75% of students receiving free lunch.

My female students have taken a recent interest in the "Twilight" series by Stephenie Meyer. However, since there is only one copy of the series in our school library, the chances of being able to read the books are very slim. I would love to have two sets of the series for my classroom, so that my girls can continue with their love for reading.

Having other basic supplies to operate the class will help, as well. The digital camera will be used to display my hardworking students inside the classroom walls. I will be choosing one student a week to showcase on my bulletin board with the use of the camera. The awards and certificates will be used for motivators and the flash drive will be available for students to save their projects on throughout the year. All of these supplies I have named can ensure that my girls will be recognized for their abilities and expand their imagination outside of the four walls to which we are confined.
