The school I teach in has a wonderful group of students who love to learn and are excited about coming to school each day. As a first grade teacher I struggle to make learning both fun and interactive.

The students in my class do not have the art supplies they need to be creative and inventive. Many of the students bring little to no basic supplies in the classroom let alone art supplies. Art is a great way for students to express themselves and explore different materials.

Through the materials I have requested I will connect the curriculum with art and dramatic play. Some of these items include paint, puppets and construction paper. Through art students get to use the hands on material and be inventive. In order to be truly well educated it is important for children to appreciate the arts and have rich opportunities to participate in creative works. It is a wonderful way for children to have tangible items and be proud of their creations.

With your help students will be able to bring every subject to life and bring abstracts into reality. These children will get excited about learning and using the hands on materials. Your donation will help create a fun interactive learning environment.
