Music: The Vernacular of the Human Soul

My students need 25 copies of the "Essential Repertoire for Developing Choirs (Treble Choir edition) for festival and concert performances.

Women's Chorus is an opportunity for young women to find their voice, both figuratively and literally, in the sometimes loud and confusing environment of teenage life. This is a young school that has been in existence for only two years, and already the choir program has had great success. The women's chorus is a non-auditioned group open to any young lady in the high school who would like to sing. Last year, they earned superior ratings at the district and state level, surprising many people... and themselves!

Because of the high costs of supplies, it can be difficult to build a good library of music. Without music, these young ladies have a very limited choir experience. The burden of purchasing music falls on the small fee charged to each student wanting to be in choir, often leaving them with little new material to work with.

The book, "Essential Repertoire for the Developing Choir" has high-quality, time-tested musical literature in a variety of styles that will give these wonderful young women much to work on over the years! In addition, the book covers important music theory and history topics, giving them a well-rounded educational experience.

Your help will ensure these ladies continue to have the resources to astound and amaze everyone around them and to prove to themselves that their voices can be heard. They have worked hard for everything they've received so far, and any help they receive will just help them to grow even more. Thank you!
