Please help me get my kindergarten class excited about science. I teach in a working class community nestled right on the Chesapeake Bay. My children love to learn, but unfortunately science is a subject that doesn't get as much time as other content areas.

As we all know the main focus is to get our children reading, writing and achieving in mathematics. Science is a field where all of these subjects come together, but for some reason is often left on the back burner during the school day. I want to get my students excited about exploring science by having a variety of materials available in our science center for them to explore.

Students at this age learn more by being able to personally touch and explore than they do by just watching or listening. These materials will allow them to explore different subjects in science on a daily basis.

With your generous donations my students will be able to explore science beyond the state provided curriculum. Science is a booming field in the working world. By getting children involved and excited about science at a young age, we can help inspire them to make changes for tomorrow. Please help me give my little scientists these tools to help make them the world changing scientists of the future!
