I'm currently teaching pre-kindergarten in a Title One school in New York City. Asking parents for needed supplies is a challenge. I know they are trying to make ends meet feeding and putting clothes on their child's back.

Budget cuts are taking over my classroom. My preschool children love to create their own art projects They will be able to practice cutting and gluing, which are much needed skills.

My classroom is in dire need of construction paper, tissue paper, and paint. I love to watch the children select their own paper and start creating Pre K Picassos. Add tissue paper and paint to the mixture and my students will be able to have endless hours of learning fun.

I know you are reading this because you care about children. So please, with all of your heart, make this proposal possible. You will bring bright smiles to three and four year olds who will be able to share their precious work with their families. Go ahead, we're counting on you!
