I teach 1st grade at a new school in Colorado. Our school is in a high need community.

Our budget is very limited at our school because it is new and we have many resources that we need. Our class budget is only $150.00 for the entire year.

The theme for our class this year is bees. We are worker bees and busy bees. We are "bee"coming a nice community in our hive here at school. Our reading "hive" is very bare, so I am requesting a bee themed rug to allow the kids to spread out on it and get comfy. This will ensure that they have a relaxing place to read and learn in.
