I teach in a K-2 grade, multiaged classroom setting. My students come from all areas of Greater Cleveland. These kids are special needs students typically performing slightly below grade level.

Although my class rotates through centers throughout the day I am looking to add a comfortable and inviting area where they can sit and read and we can gather for circle time in the morning. The students currently have to sit in their seats for this time as the current floor is not suitable to sit on. Being able to get out of their seats helps these students be less fidgity.

I am looking to make my classroom a little more inviting for the students by adding an attractive, clean and comfy rug for them to sit on during circle time as well as independent reading time. I am also eager to hear all the stories the students create from the animals that are found on this beautiful rug.

A large percentage of my students have ADHD and have a hard time sitting still. In order to accommondate them we do a lot with center rotations. I would love to be able to add an appealing and welcoming area that they can go to for centers.
