Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My students are a multi-aged special education class. They are apart of a public school in urban New York State. They require basic intervention and creative outlets. Some cannot afford their regular school supplies so having these are essential their learning.

Many of my students require non traditional strategies for learning and arts and crafts are perfect for them to channel their understanding in a creative way. I would really love for my students to have a healthy education outside of their not so healthy home lives. Please help us learn.

These materials will serve as a educational fortress for healthy learning in a fun way. It allows for hands on learning in the classroom. Please let my students experience the fun of learning through arts and crafts. My students thrive with comprehension when they learn through hands on arts and crafts. They get to apply their knowledge through a creative outlet. In all the themes I teach throughout all three grade levels, my students require the most creative way to express their understanding of the curriculum. The materials I request will enable them to do so. The materials I need will encourage my students to display their knowledge in a creative manner. Please let my students experience the fun of learning. They need YOUR SUPPORT to let them achieve their goals.
