"My fantastic first graders are really excited about writing. I would love to be able to provide them with a high-quality, age-appropriate composition book.

The majority of students at our school are on free or reduced lunch. That means their families cannot afford little extras like nice composition books and neither can the school district given our current state of financial turmoil.

My team of first grade teachers (6 of us this year!) is absolutely fabulous!! We enjoy team teaching which allows us to know all first graders. I am requesting composition books for all first grade classes because I will teach all of them at some point this year. I have asked for additional books because we have a fluid community of students which include Coast Guard families and homeless families.

Research shows that daily journal writing is essential to producing students who enjoy writing and in turn, reading thus opening many doors of opportunity. You can make this possible by donating to the greatest students on the planet!

My students need 150 primary composition books. The cost of this proposal is $478, which includes shipping for any materials requested and fulfillment ?."
