Our classroom All-Stars dream of making a difference in the world around us. We are an eclectic 4th grade classroom in an empowerment school. Our school's empowerment status allows us to go above and beyond the normal classroom expectations to challenge our students and give them the confidence to be whatever they choose. Our motto is "We're Great and Getting Greater" and it shows in everything we do.

The state of Nevada is in the midst of some serious "education-threatening" budget cuts. Our county has a shortage of teachers as it is and it appears that the student/teacher ratio is again on the rise. Our class needs things to help offset these shortfalls to help us in our quest to be the best.

Our classroom runs a very complex monetary system which includes a bank and mail center. Each student has a particular job and is paid a bi-weekly salary. Unfortunately, we are outgrowing the space in our classroom for the items that we use to facilitate this system. The cubby organizational unit we we have chosen for our classroom is perfect for our needs and solves the problem of space.

Our class takes a lot of pride in everything we do and we understand that it's people like you that can help make our dreams come true. We appreciate your consideration and hope you will join the "All-Star" team!
