My students need 1 set of the series "Me and My World" photo books and 30 privacy partitions.

Please help my students become the best test takers ever! I teach second grade in a low income area where most of my students do not have outside resources available to them. Many of my students depend on the school for their daily meals. This area is also highly mobile with a large population of English Language Learners.

Every year I face the difficulty of teaching my students about the world in which they live in. The concept of city to state to country to continent is very abstract for second grade students. It is especially difficult to teach this because I do not have any visual aides to use while presenting these important lessons.

I believe that I have found the solution to this problem. There is a wonderful photo book series called Me and My World which includes a book for each lesson. The photos are delightful and at the right level for my students. I believe these books used in conjunction with their Social Studies series will ensure that my students understand the world in which they live in from city to continent! In addition to the photo books, my students would benefit from test taking partitions. These portable folders will help them focus on their own papers therefore ensuring greater results.
