Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Students learn by doing. How concepts are taught is just as important as what is taught. I teach first grade in a rural town in Arizona.

My students are natural investigators. However, our classroom does not have any windows to give us a sunny spot to grow plants.

A plant light would provide us with an opportunity to have hands-on experiences growing plants in the classroom.

Your donation will provide materials that will enrich the day to day experience of the students in the classroom. It will make learning more memorable and fun!
