Hi! I'm a second grade teacher. I'm blessed to have 21 eager and motivated learners in my classroom.

My students need more practice with retelling fiction and non-fiction stories. When I read with them, many of them can read the words but when asked questions about the story or when I ask them to tell me about what they read, many are unable to retell the story including the small details.

I am requesting materials that will guide and support their reading comprehension such as fiction and nonfiction comprehension practice cards, markers for the cards, reading comprehension activity series and magnetic comprehension teaching charts.

Your donation will ensure that my students get the extra help needed to become better readers. Any donation to this project would be greatly appreciated by my students and myself.
