This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Ever been in a store and stood while a cashier struggled to figure out how much change to give? Well worry no more. I am a third grade teacher hoping to make counting change a breeze.

Learning how to count money is difficult when you don't have enough plastic money to practice with. This is the dilemma I am facing right now.

I am hoping to get money kits for each of my students. Included with these kits is a set of money for the overhead projector. This will allow me to better instruct my students. The calculators will be used to create a store where the kids can practice their money skills.

With your assistance my students will go on to help the struggling cashiers of the world.
