My students need three ring binders, a plastic pencil pouch, and sheet protectors to help them be better organized because they will be traveling to different classes each day. They will have to stay organized with their belongings & assignments from different classes.

Help me organize my kids. I teach writing to 3rd-5th grades, who will be transitioning to 5 different classes each day. They must have a system in place to keep up with their supplies.

Last year, I spent money from my own pocket to get them organized. We are not allowed to purchase items at the "cheap chain stores" with the money we get from our school for supplies. The system I used really helped my students keep their belongings organized.

The days with students not having their homework were very few because they kept their homework log in the binder. I also have them keep a home communication folder inside the binder in order to communicate with their parents. I also give them a classroom handbook that contains the rules and procedures for our classroom. This will also house a zipper pencil pouch to hold pencil sharpener, pencils, highlighters, post-it notes, ink pens, bookmarks, & crayons. This year the students will be traveling to 5 different classes each day. They will need to keep up with their materials during the transition. This is the best system I have used.

Please help me to instill in my kids the life skills that a successful person needs to possess.
