I teach reading in small groups of kindergarten through fifth grade students. My students are reading below their current reading level. Reading on grade level is of utmost importance for my students. This teaching position was newly created this school year.

Did you enjoy reading as a child? Writing? I would like to grow the love of reading and writing for my students. Reading and writing on grade level is very important for my students. Since my current teaching position is new this year, building up the resources available for my students to use at home is very important. My students need some reading and writing resources.

A reading/writing organizational cart is needed in my classroom to organize my students' reading and writing work. Reading and writing take home materials are necessary for their improvement. I would like you to help me provide these students with take home reading materials and a place to store them.

Please know that your financial help with be greatly appreciated by my students this years and students in the future. My students and I will take very good care of these materials so that they will last for many years to come. Thank you for reading about our need.
