Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach a preschool class at a low to no-income school. Students at our school are 99% free lunch. Parents face hardship in bringing their child to school. Most of our children come from single parent families, or grandparents raising their grandchildren.

My students face obstacles every day. Supplies are one of the biggest dilemma we face. Since we are a public school most of the supplies are purchased by the teachers. I would love to purchase the best of all best things for my students but, it is impossible.

If I had this iPod I can use it to store all of my students' music I purchase off the internet and also be able to carry it along with me as I teach my class. Music and videos will be able to store and save for my students to listen and watch. The students in my class will benefit this iPod because they will be able to use it one on one. The students will use the iPod to listen to story books that are on it. As a group I will attach speakers so, we can listen to story books and music. Students at a preschool age love music and dance. As, a teacher I am not the world’s best singer. I rely on technology to help me with my singing. Children are like sponges, the more you feed their minds the more they absorb. I would like them to know how to use an iPod.

Your, generosity will help my students a great deal. I would like to have more technology in their lives. I want the world to know that with people like you, you make our students world light up. Our students strive for the best and as their teacher I would like them to experience the best. Thank you for empowering my students.
