I teach a lively group of first graders in an inner city school. We have a high population of students who live below the poverty level.

Every year I have good intentions of keeping my student's portfolios organized and easily accessible. I have tried almost everything! Still my intentions fail one way or another every year. However, I have the key to our success!

Our school mandates that we must keep an active portfolio for every child. It must be accessible for parents, the principal, and of course, the students. File cabinets are not very child friendly. However, with this Student Portfolio Organizer we can keep all important things in one easily accessible space. Making life a little easier to keep track of journals, papers, and pictures.

Your donation will make it possible for my students to have hands on access to their portfolios. It will also help them learn organizational skills as well. With the portfolio organizer my students will feel they have more freedom in viewing their work regularly.
