What A Way To Listen!

My students need a table designed to house a listening center.

I teach first grade at a high needs, crowded school. My students need a lot of attention and my projected roster for September is 32 students!!

Everyone needs/wants the teacher's attention at once! And my students will be working at so many different levels. There are those who are still sounding out letters all the way up to students who can read easily on their own (and are bored by the lessons the struggling students need) and everything in between! I need to meet everyone's needs and keep everyone working - but not always on the same thing.

There is a table specifically designed to work as a listening center. The tape machine fits into a space in the middle, the wires are out of the way, and all around the edges is storage space to hold all the materials students use when they're responding to whatever task they're working on. While 4 students are working on a task at the listening center, I can more easily work with other students. Imagine! No more tripping over wires! No more having the listening center falling to the floor! A space for materials!! And plenty of space for the students to work.
