My students need pencils, markers and colored pencils to complete projects in Social Studies and Science. These supplies will benefit almost 100 English Language Learners in a resource room setting.

I am the Media/Technology Coordinator at a Junior High School. I assist over 700 students and 100 staff members who are engaged in learning every day. We have a large number of English Language Learners in our school.

I wish to provide our English Language Learners with supplies that will be used to complete simple classroom assignments and projects. A room-based collection of supplies will allow student who cannot purchase supplies themselves to have access to what they need for their education.

It may seem like a small thing, but supplying these students with a supply of pencils and markers that are readily available will really help the teachers meet the needs of these students. Normally, a classroom set of supplies would not be necessary in a Middle School, but our ELL classroom is a special situation - new to country students priorities often do not include school supplies.

With your help, students will have access to some of the supplies they need to help them learn and succeed in their new home.
