I teach 5th grade science to a wonderfully diverse group of students. My class is diverse in race and intelligence. I have the challenge of teaching special education children, impoverished children along with average and high thinking students.

My students are very diverse. This is a wonderful situation socially. The children are learning so much about the world through their interactions. I need books to help me ensure that their learning is equal. I need tools that help all types of children learn what they need to.

I believe supplementing with science books is the way toward achieving this learning equality. These books will be a wonderful way to reach low learners and also reinforce what is being taught to high level learners.

You will be a hero to these students who work so hard and really want to understand the science concepts that explain why many things are the way they are in our world. By donating these books, you are paving another path toward equality by allowing low learners to learn with the high level learners in a way they can understand - with books.
