Scott McNeely said, "When computers (people) are networked, their power multiplies geometrically. Not only can people share all that information inside their machines, but they can reach out and instantly tap the power of other machines (people), essentially making the entire network their computer." I am a K-5th grade teacher in GA.

I am the new technology teacher of an entire elementary school. Our student population consists of 99% percent free and reduced lunch students. Many of our students are coming to us from single parent homes where there is little or no technology exposure other than the classrooms. Our school has been fortunate enough to receive new computers for every classroom. Although, we have the lab computers and classroom computers, students are not allowed to save their work to the hard drive or server. I would like to provide a donated flash drive for those students who are less fortunate so that they can transport their technology work back and forth from the lab to their homeroom classes.

In order to get this small task accomplished I would need at least 50 128mb flash drives. This resource will allow the students to transport their saved work from the computer lab to the classrooms so that technology can continue to advance within our school.

In the words of Scott Neely, this small donation will allow students to "connect" to a "larger network" through the use of technology. Your contribution to our school would be your opportunity to connect to the larger network.
